Who we are…

As a visual artist, I strive to introduce my viewer to the unconventional beauty of every day places, things and associated chaos- to a beauty that may not be at eye level. As a Navy veteran, I strive to capture the everyday events parallel to all cultures and places uniting us in our humanity. I graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1993 as a painter and art instructor. My life’s journey includes a stint as an outdoor guide, a stint in the US Navy, and a career as a staff officer in the Department of Defense. Each of these opportunities afforded me the opportunity to travel to places far and near- to places with peaceful beauty as well as to places where the human spirit overcomes overwhelming destruction and challenge.

I have recently displayed work with The Makery, Conception Gallery, Contemporary Arts Online, high end retail establishments in California, Texas and Colorado, local artistic market places in Texas and with the Texas Photographic Society and the San Clemente Arts Association. I remain an adventurer, builder, creator and explorer. I am inspired by eye catching flashes of sublime in the every day. I am watercolorist and acrylic painter as well as a photographer. I'm a lifelong artist, showing in various galleries and retail establishments for over 20 years.

Lucille Campbell

Beagle. Field-tested. Loosely supervised.

Lucille doesn’t bark. She makes statements. No one’s entirely sure where she came from — only that she appeared with a torn collar, a thousand-yard stare, and a taste for graphite and guilt. Some say she once handled logistics for a short-lived zine syndicate out of the Appalachian corridor. Others say she just never left. Now serving as Art Club’s unofficial enforcer, Lucille specializes in security, pattern recognition, and morale destabilization. She recovers evidence. She waits. Known in various circles as The Squirrel Auditor, Miss Treats, and “Ma’am, that dog’s not allowed in here,” Lucille operates on proximity, not permission.
